How to Install Custom Recovery on Android One Devices:
- To install recovery, first download any recovery available for Android one devices and save it to SDK\tools folder.
- Connect your device in Fast boot mode and open command prompt in Sdk\tools folder.
- Type this command.
fastboot devices
- If you can see your phone then you can go for next process.Type following command.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- It will flash custom recovery on your phone.
fastboot reboot
- That's it.
Now turn of your phone and turn on again by pressing power + vol up button and go to recovery.You can see your installed custom recovery.
How to Root Android One Devices:
- Download super su zip file from here and save it to your SD card.
- Then turn on your phone in recovery mode and select choose file.
- Then select install zip from external SD card and select downloaded zip file.
- Install it and you're done.
- Start your phone and you will see super user app.
- Now your phone is Rooted !
