Windows 8.1 August Update is now available for download.Microsoft has just released new update for its latest operating system Windows 8.1 update 1.The download link is posted by Microsoft Download Center.A few days back Microsoft confirmed the next update for Windows 8.1. It also clarified that the August update would not bring major changes for the OS even though many had expected that initially.
The update comes with some minor improvements and fixes.Windows 8.1 August update features three new end-user settings to improve the touchpad, these include double-tap and drag, allow right clicks through trackpad and the ability to leave the trackpad on when an external mouse is connected.
Windows 8.1 August Update offers some new features, security and non-security fixes to the operating system.It also include some new features like Minimize login prompts for SharePoint Online, Precision touchpad improvements, Miracast Receive, etc will be introduced.
